This father of five and grandfather of five has taken even more responsibility upon himself by pledging to support the precious girls at our Home in Netanya. Mr. Arnold Brickhouse believes that giving charity to orphans in Israel is an important duty for him and his wife Maureen. Speaking to Mr. Brickhouse was truly a privilege. His bible knowledge through continuous study for decades, is most impressive. Our conversation was constantly laced with biblical references that were most inspirational. Over the years, the Brickhouse family donated to many charitable organizations. Their experiences led them to discover that some institutions were not above board with their professed goals. As a result, Mr. Brickhouse became disenchanted with many charities. Today, since finding the Lev LaLev Fund, and learning about the Rubin-Zeffren Children's Home in Netanya, Arnold Brickhouse is glad that he was able to find a trusted and worthy cause that actually does what it promises – giving a second chance to needy orphans, to girls that have been abandoned, neglected or abused in the land of Israel. The girls at our Home are so grateful to Arnold and Maureen Brickhouse for their devotion and support and wish to convey their warmest thanks from the bottom of their hearts for all the love and attention this South Dakota family has shown them. Wishing this generous family much joy from their children and grandchildren!
